I'm 4!

My birthday is November 10th, which was on a Monday this year. I ended up taking a big road trip to go over on the other side of the mountains and see my family there. I did very well on the drive, I had several stops to eat, get a drink, use the potty and help mommy with Zoe and Jetta pug. I stayed at my Cousin Axel's house with Aunt Shannon and Uncle Keith too. On Saturday afternoon we went to the Seattle Aquarium. It was really fun, lots and lots of fish to see. My favorite part was touching the starfish, I wanted to pick them up and take them with me, but Daddy said I couldn't. I also loved seeing the seal swim under water, very cool. He swam upside down! We went to the gift shop and we bought some things to take home with us. I will go back again, look out starfish! We had dinner that night at Red Robin, and then back to Axel's for the night.
On Sunday, we woke up and met Grandpa and Grandma for breakfast. Mommy, Daddy, and I went to the party store and to pick up my cake after breakfast. We went back to Axel's and got ready for my party. A little before 2pm, my guests arrived. I got to meet my Great Grandma Gloria for the first time, she is very nice. I also saw my Great Grandpa Bud and Great Grandma Jean too! Grandpa and Grandma Shauf were there too. We had a princess castle carrot cake, pink and purple drinks, and of course lots of balloons, decorations, and presents! I got so many nice and fun things, thank you everyone!! It was great to see you all and hope to again soon.
I also went over to Grandpa and Grandma's new house they are building, it was fun to explore. Mommy, Daddy, and I left on Monday morning for the road trip home. It was a nice trip, it was sunny and nice all the way home. I got back to my house and Ozzy and Omar pug were waiting for me. I missed them too.
Thanks to everyone who made my birthday a special one. Thanks especially to Aunt Shannon for letting us stay and letting me have my party at her house, Love you all!

My Halloween

Mommy and I are behind again, it has been a busy time, with Halloween, our trip to the west side, and my birthday.
Sleeping Cutie won my costume poll, so that is what I was. I was very excited for Halloween night and to get dressed and ready to go. After dinner, mommy got my pink tights, my pink Sleeping Cutie dress, black super sparkly princess shoes and my special tiara out. It was a multi-step process but everyone said I looked beautiful when I was all ready, pretty as a princess. We rode in the car to Rosalia where I did the majority of my trick or treating. I only got scared at a couple houses, but I loved it, I had so much fun!! I kept telling mommy, just one more house, one more candy please. She thought I was cute and just laughed, even though I was totally serious. I ended up with a lot of candy, even big candy bars! It was a successful night and I can't wait to do it again next year.

A new baby!

One of my favorite things is animals, especially dogs. I claimed Zoda pug as my own and love her very much. We are almost always together. One of Daddy's friends at work knew someone that had pug puppies and there was even a black female, mommy's favorite. We went two weekends ago and visited her, she was very cute and sweet. On Saturday, we went to pick her up and bring her home. She is so little, she weighs 1.8 pounds! She likes to sleep and eat, and chew on toys a little. Most of all she loves to be held and snuggled. I am being a good helper and help mommy with the new baby and Zoe. She is super cute, here she is.....

At the dentist......

On Friday I went to the dentist and met Dr. Jon. Mama told me he was very nice and he would look at my teeth and make them all sparkly clean. I love going to the dentist, I liked Dr. Jon and his assistant Marsha. She asked me questions, and I got to look in a big mirror and show her how I brush my teeth with a special Disney Princess toothbrush. She gave me Disney Princess flossers that are really cool. I laid back in the BIG chair and got to put on really neat orange flower shaped glasses while Dr. Jon and I counted my teeth. I have ten on the top and ten on the bottom. He said I have been doing a very good job, no cavities and he had no concerns about my teeth. He also said I was a very good patient and asked Marsha to help me get a goodie bag and he would have something special for me to do when we were done. Marsha helped me get a Mickey Mouse bag and we filled it with a pink sand timer(tells me how long to brush), my new toothbrush, my new flossers, my orange glasses, chapstick, toothbrush, a sparkle butterfly pencil, a princess sticker, and special mouthwash that shows me where I missed a spot. I met Dr. Jon in the hallway and he had lots of toys in big tubs, he told me I was such a good girl that I could chose one toy to take home. I chose a special white carebear with a flag on his tummy. I also got to meet all the assistants that worked with Mommy while she was there, they were very nice and they said I was so cute and brave. Mommy took me to Mc Donalds and playland after we were done. I had a busy day but I liked going to the dentist and my Mommy said she was glad and that she was so proud of me.

MMM, apple time

I have been learning about apples. I have been busy learning how an apple grows and sequencing the steps, sorting different colors of apples, graphing with apple products, sizing apples, patterning activities with apple cutouts, doing apple art and science projects and of course cooking with apples. Here I am working on some of my favorite projects I have done.

Weekend Adventures of Alyssa and Axel.....

I had a great weekend! My Aunt Shannon and Cousin Axel came to visit us. They got to my house on Friday and Axel and I had so much fun playing together. We also had a blast playing with Zoe pug. She ran and we chased her around everywhere. Aunt Shannon and Cousin Axel brought me lots of really cool presents that I love, thank you so much for them! We went to bed and got up early on Saturday for our big day.
We got to Chuck E. Cheese soon after it opened. It was very nice because we could ride or play on about anything we wanted. I wanted to climb in the tunnels alot, Axel rode some of the rides. We got pizza and salad for lunch, but neither of us wanted to eat very much, there was so much to do! I showed Axel the toddler climber and he loved going down the green slide. Daddy and Aunt Shannon played some games and helped us play also to get lots of tickets to trade in. Axel liked feeding the tickets to the Ticket Muncher machine. We took our tickets and traded them in for all sorts of different little treasures that we enjoyed.
After Chuck E. Cheese, we headed for a place called Cat Tales. It used to be more interesting when you could get up closer to the animals, but we still did look at a few different species of big cats. Axel and I had alot of fun playing on the statues and rock structures they had. After Cat Tales, we headed to the grocery store. A woman there gave Axel a blue balloon and I got a red one. We headed home for the day, and we were both exhausted. Neither one of us took a nap though much to everyone's surprise.
Back at my house, we played together until around 8 when we both told our Mommies that it was bedtime. Sunday morning Axel had to leave and go home. We were both sad, but my Mommy assured me I would see him again. Hope you both had a safe and fun trip home Aunt Shannon and Cousin Axel. Thanks for coming to visit me, I had a great time!!

I love Chuck E. Cheese!!

My weekend was busy again. On Saturday I took my Zoe to the vet, she is doing much better and does not have to go back again for her eye. I went shopping at Walmart, Winco, and the Dollar Store. I also went to Clarkston and saw Grandpa Burl and Grandma Betty.
On Sunday, I went to Spokane and ran a few errands with Mommy and Daddy, then we went to Chuck E. Cheese. I was so excited I was about to burst. It was a chilly, rainy day and it was very busy. It took about a half hour to get a table so I had extra play time. The rides and toys were pretty busy, and I rode a few before our pizza came. The pizza is yummy, but the rides and games are the best! I was even courageous enough this time to climb into the tunnel system that is mounted to the ceiling, Mommy says I am so brave and such a big girl. I didn't stop grinning from ear to ear until it was time to leave. I had the best time and will be going back again this weekend. I can't wait! Here I am having a good old time.
