Let's go to the fair!

Last Saturday Daddy and Mommy took me to the Latah County fair in Moscow, Idaho. I had a great time and was able to see a lot of farm animals. I loved seeing the mama pig and her spotted babies. The babies were running around and making lots of loud squealing noises while they played with one another. I was able to pet them, but also told Mommy that they were stinky. I saw alot of sheep, and liked the black ones the best. One was even wearing a bandana and a cowboy hat, he looked very silly. I tried to talk to the cows, even in their own language MOOOOOO. I really wanted to ride one, but decided that wasn't the best idea. We walked to the barn that had chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits in it next. They had a lot of chickens and I watched several of them eat. I also spent alot of time watching the baby ducks swim in their pond, climb out and go under the heating lamp. After the bunny barn, I went outside and saw a horse, a steer, and a baby calf. After walking around I was so hungry and asked Mommy and Daddy for lunch. We ate at a Chinese restaurant. As I was sitting at the table eating and looking around, I asked them both, "Where is my Grandpa"? Mommy said, Grandpa is at home, probably working. I told her "I miss him". We went shopping at Winco and Walmart and headed home. I had a good time and big day. Can't wait until the next fair.

Happy Teddy Bear Day!!

I had a great time with Teddy Bear Day. Mommy and I did a lot of fun things to celebrate. We made teddy toast using bread, cookie cutters, peanut butter, chocolate chips, raisins, cranberries and fruit loops. We read the book Corduroy and played a Corduroy game. I put specific numbers of buttons on Corduroy's overalls. After lunch we colored pictures of teddy bears. I made another Teddy snack out of cinnamon raisin english muffins, honey, and m&m's. It was yummy! After snack, we made teddy bears from construction paper, wobbly eyes, buttons, and jewels. Mommy and I read one of my new favorite books Teddy Bears Picnic. I also got to listen to the book on tape. After dinner, I made teddy necklaces for Zoe and I. We looked beautiful!
